We are truly humbled to have been selected as a nominee for the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce’s “Building of the Year.” The final list is comprised of impressive projects throughout the city, including Seattle’s Space Needle renovation, the Nordic Museum, Amazon Spheres and University of Washington’s Life Sciences Building. The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce is open for voting on the city’s “Building of the Year” now through February 15th .

Blending historic and contemporary features, Gridiron offers a unique aesthetic for urban living in Seattle. The existing four-story building that once housed Johnson Plumbing was expanded upon in collaboration with the architects at Hewitt, and boasts the original 115-year-old brick façade. New design elements rich in light, texture and color create an iconic look positioned at the south end of the upcoming Waterfront Seattle project.
